The range of the machining centers RV2 SP have been developed especially for the production of high precision parts.Applications include complex parts in the aerospace, medical,optical,electronic and micro-mechinical industries.

Grattage

For more than 15 years the REALMECA machine beds have been made of a composite material with high density.
This material guarantees improved vibration absorption,high stress resistance and thermal stability for :

  • optimal surface finishing
  • a long service life for cutting tools
  • higher processing speeds

The connection elements for the spindle headstock and cross-slides are integrated directly into the machine base.
The surface flatness,parallelity and squareness of these components within 2 µm tolerances are achieved via hand scrapping.
The extremely precise linear roller guideways are then mounted directly onto the almost perfect surfaces.

Version HSM

RV2 SP - Version UTGVHigh frequency spindles relate to a technology that permits on average the highest level of performance currently available.
High frequency spindles are precise, solid, stable and attain rotating speeds 40,000 - 60,000 or 80,000 RPM .
These rotational speeds allow use of all tools presently offered on the market. An added plus is a vibration-free thread cutting.
Without exception, toolholders of the type HSK-E and type D collets must be utilised.
Due to its slightly conical shape, the type D collet is more accurate than a type ESX collet.
