For more than 15 years the machine beds of REALMECA are made of composite material with high density.
This material guarantees improved vibration absorption, high stress resistance and thermal stability for :
The connection elements for the spindle headstock and cross-slides are integrated directly into the machine base.
The surface flatness,parallelity and squareness of these components within 2 µm tolerances were achieved via hand scrapping.

High frequency spindles relate to a technology that permits on average the highest level of performance currently available.
High frequency spindles are precise, solid, stable and attain rotating speeds between 24,000 and 40,000 RPM as well as a power output of 14 kW.
These rotational speeds allow use of all tools presently offered on the market. An added plus is a vibration-free thread cutting.
Without exception,toolholders of the type HSK-E and type D collets must be utilised.
Due to its slightly conical shape,the type D collet is more accurate than a type ESX collet.
