History

REALMECA from 1962 to today

Founded in 1962 by Mr Jean FRIESS, REALMECA, designer and manufacturer of machine tools, started by manufacturing screw-cutting lathes and today produces a wide range of 2- and 3-axis numerical control turning centre and 3- to 7-axis high-speed machining centre.

In 1984, REALMECA launched the smallest machining center on the market : the C 250 V.

In 1992, REALMECA created the first french high speed machining center with the C 400 UGV.

In 1999, REALMECA announced its partnership with the company SPINNER, the german manufacturer of high precision machines.

In 2001, a new range of multifunction machining centers is launched.

In 2002, REALMECA started a new partnership with HAAS AUTOMATION, the american manufacturer, and become the HAAS FACTORY OUTLET NORTH-EAST FRANCE.

REALMECA's newest creation, the RM3-7, is launched in 2012.

 

More than 6 000 machines have been installed around the world.

Many technicians and engineers, including more than 4 500 teachers, have been trained to the use of new technologies (CNC, high and very high speed machining, turning and milling on hard materials).
